There is a hairdressing supplies shop behind Halfords on Queens Road.

Can't remember their name though!

Here we go:

Sally Hair & Beauty Supplies Ltd

Guernsey Road

It's just a light oil. Any light oil e.g. sewing machine oil will do if you can't find the official Wahl stuff.

South Yorkshire Shaver Centre in Castle Markets (if it still exists)

I use Silicone spray lubricant on mine.

No grease and just as good as oil.

I use WD40 as well, it works a treat, the olis are well over priced for what they are. No doubt you wash your hair after you cut it, so you will not be smelling of a grease monkey

Isn't WD40 carcinogenic if consumed?

It's probably not good for one's health. But then again, you'd have to be a very special kind of person to be drinking WD40.

I use baby oil on mine, that usually does the trick.
