HornDog   10 #7 Posted June 24, 2007 We had our reception on 16th June after a wedding abroad, so it was a garden party with a hog roast.  The Hog arrived butchered but raw at around 2pm, The chef scoured the skin for crackling and started the cooking at arround 2:30.  Whilst this was cooking he prepaired 8 different salads, Waldordf, coleslaw, pasta salad, greek, green salad, tomatoes & motsarella, a hot new potato salad,. fruit. All this was prepaired fresh in our kitchen.  He brought stuffing, applesauce and Breadcakes and also offered a veg option, but we didnt need this.  A huge bowl of crackling was brought round at arround 7pm and the hog was ready at about 8:30pm  We really enjoyed this, there was loads of salad and pork left at the end of the night, all of our guests had a realy great time, and we now have enough pork in our freezer for curry untill christmas.
