He's 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds so smacking was out of the question. Yes, I am ashamed to say I did swirl the toothbrush in the toilet. It felt good at the time. Hell, it still feels good.

Am I the only person who has fantasies about slashing their ex's tires, or dumping spaghetti on his head in a fancy restaurant, or pantsing him on a bustling subway platform? This poop-in-the-curry story is amusing because it's something many of us would love to do, if only in our wildest dreams.

By the way, my ex never used his bog-swirled toothbrush, and I probably would have warned him if he'd so much as picked it up. But swirling it -- and imagining that he might use it -- amused me during the most difficult time of my life.

Trust me, he gave worse than he ever got.
