I think the series has gone off track a bit for the last few series.

It was a good comedy for the first few years and has since changed and doesn't seem as good now.

For me is started to go off when Munch was brought it.

Maybe I just didn't like that character.

I didn't like the series where Janet and Johnny had split up and Johnny was with Kate. I couldn't stand her, every time she came on the screen I just wanted to smack her in her smug mouth!!!

If you want genuine British comedy, look up Fawlty Towers on DVD, I have both series, funniest thing ever IMO. John Cleese is the absolute God of old school Britcom.

it may not showcase the most sophisticated comedy ever but it sure does make me laugh :hihi:

I used to hate the program when it first started, but it's recently grown on me to become addictive late-night viewing. Two episodes of "Two Pints", followed by "Ideal". Keeps me awake and laughing whilst I'm working.
