View Full Version : Human Relationships cressida 01-05-2007, 08:59 what qualities do you look for in a friend or partner? Jabberwocky 01-05-2007, 09:02 In order of importance: Intelligence. Humour. Big thighs. Sex drive like a rabbit. If a woman has a good mind combined with a good sense of humour then as far as Im concerned, shes a goddess. The physical side of it isnt at all important, but Im lucky to say that my other half is a little hotty. Pooch_1 01-05-2007, 09:07 what qualities do you look for in a friend or partner? Honesty Trust Intelligence Sense of Humour Confidentiality - If I tell them something personal, I don't expect them to tell others. Integrity Diplomacy. Kaizabella 01-05-2007, 09:09 Physically, they have to be skinny and quite dark haired Personality wise, I'd appreciate it if they could make me laugh and also be there for me when I'm having one of my mood swings. medusa 01-05-2007, 09:11 My ideal partner is someone who respects and loves me for who I am (not who they'd like me to be), who's gentle and kind but will stand up to me when I need it, who can engage me in conversation and challenge my opinions but be secure enough to allow me to challenge theirs too, who can make me laugh and who is prepared to put in enough effort to understand me on a deeper level and meet me there, not just on the surface. Someone to share good things and bad with, who wants to know the whole me and accepts that I have flaws and insecurities the same as anyone else and loves me anyway. Thank you honey for doing all of these things. Snook 01-05-2007, 09:15 Must have a pulse and low standards.. I'd be willing to compromise though! She said what she wants is a man to be faithful A true heart somebody willin' and able To stay by her side through thick and thin A tender touch every now and then She's not hung up on fairy tales Or some dream at the bottom of a wishin' well Fancy cars or diamond rings What she wants most are the little things That's what she gets That's what she gets That's what she gets for loving me At times I lay awake at night Stare at her laying by my side Knowin' there in her heart as she sleeps She can forever count on me Whatever turns her on I'm here to do it Till the day they write my name in stone I'll live to prove it ... as Brooks and Dunn said. |
