Does anyone know a cheap place to buy rope?

No I am not wanting to hang anyone, just need lots of rope to wind around a giant cat-scratching tree I am making for our cat Ermi.

Have you tried a garden centre? I would imagine they would sell rope since it's used in fencing sometimes.

B & Q superstore sell it. You can by it by the yard (or metre).
