Ok, after finding an old tape of the cartoon I realise how bad the new one is.

Mine was Michaelangelo, I loved the game for the Super NES.

None of them. Splinter (i think) was the best!.
I can remember nearly all of the song, boy i must be a real saddo:hihi:.

I perfer the new Turtles as its closer to the original comic than the 80s/90s one.

Its weird watching the same cartoon with completly different plots.

It seems that they are all coming back. All those 80s children, old enough to being back thier childhood.

Right. There was 4 turtles, Leonardo , Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo.

All named after renaissance artists

Then they had a leader.....who had 1 ear.....and they called him Splinter?!

They were missing an ideal opportunity for continuity there weren't they!

Yeah, they're playing the nostalga card to the parents.....theyre more likely to buy kids things they were into and they rememeber from when they were kids

Michaelangelo was the coolest Turtle IMO.

Best character in the original cartoon series though was April O'Neil, she was a BABE!

I did enjoy the first two movies, but can't really remember the third one. I remember rocksteady and Bebop to Likszz they were cool, the bundling Henchmen! plus the pink blob (Kang?)

I wonder if you can get the old series on dvd now, surely it will come out soon with all the recent re-releases.

If not you can probably download episodes off stuff like Limewire, EDonkey and other P2P file sharing services.

I have been watching the new cartoon on Fox Kids, it has took me a while to get into it but I am liking it now. Still, Mikey is my favourite.

My fave character from the original TMHT cartoon wasn't actually any of the Turtles themselves, but April O'Neil! Man I fancied her rotten! :love:

She's certainly up there with Betty Rubble and Wilma Flintstone with regard to my fave animated darlings.

They are the lyrics to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle film soundtrack that came out in the early 90's. It was a rap song I think - by a band called "Partners in Kryme"????? I had the soundtrack on vinyl.

The lyrics that J-Blaze wrote are for the cartoon (the original one).

My favourite turtle, hands down is Mikey. I think towards the late 90's they had a female turtle on there, I think her name was Venus. SOmeone check this out for me, cuz I'm pretty sure that was her name. Sorry to say ladies, but she sucked!!:gag: What was the point in having a female turtle, it still baffles me!!

Yeah, Venus was in a live action Turtles series called "The Next Mutation".

I thought so, but wasn't quite sure whether it was a movie or what. What was the point of them bringing her on, the turtles were just fine without having to bring her onto the show. I still have all of the VHS tapes from when I was younger, bit ashamed of it, but I really liked the show and the theme song was seriously addictive!!
