Hi has anyone ever organised a get together for forum members (put a face to the name) before. Not that i wish to organise something like this just interested to know if its happened before

drinking ,clubbing etc

half the people on here probably arent who they say they are anyway! (i think that dirk is actually a computer geek form BT)

Never been to one myself, but loads of people have met (CRB, Badminton etc).

I have a website on myself with pictures and info.. so I know I'm who I say I am :)

I once organised a meal at an Italian restaurant in Crookes, was a bit of a disaster as only 5 out of the originally planned 11 turned up. and the service at the place was beyond ridiculous.

yeah, just do a search for 'crb meet' and you'll see there's been quite a few. I always mean to go along end up being skint or busy when it comes around.

There have been lots of other meets too at various places.

about which bit? the people not being who they say they are bit? gees, people lie on their cvs, they are prob not gonna be "normal" on here. mmmm i guess most people wouldnt say "boo to a goose" normally but "come out" on here - so its not what theirs friends would see them as.
