Who's going?

It's my first festival and I can't wait. We're arriving at 8am on the Thursday!

Where are people planning on camping?

Its not keen, its probably for the best!! We got there at about 10am last year and had trouble finding a spot to camp!! Remember that loads go on the Wednesday with an early permit!

I'm going to Reading this year, been to Leeds past few years and decided to have a change, everyone raves about how much better Reading is so going to find out for myself! I am getting excited now though!!

There's a huge stinker with the tickets this year though. Apparently, if you didn't get them from the first batch which let's you go in on the Thursday from 8am, then you can't go in until the Friday as they effectively started selling 3 day passes + camping as a weekend ticket! There's a lot of people that will turn up and turned away I think.

I'm getting there for 8am to get a good pitch :)

I went when the festival was just at the Reading site and totally enjoyed it. I have been a few times to both Leeds sites, but they are horrible hilly sites and much prefer the flat site of Reading. Also, the Reading site is pretty close to Reading centre and all the shops so you can nip off site and avoid paying extortionate prices for beer and stuff :)

Thats the main advantage of Reading really, you can pop off into town and have a hot meal and comfortable poo. At Leeds your stuck with ugly porta-loos and a lukewarm pot noodle.
