So Bernie Ecclestone looks set to be getting the extra £9 million because F1 teams have agreed to reduce allegedly testing by 50%, therefore redirect costs straight to Bernies pocket in order to save the British GP.
Any thoughts?
Yes plenty... But none repeatable on here!
He's bringing F1 to South Africa within 3 years..

Where does the 400 Million for this come from ? My guess is it won't be Uncle Bernies pocket..
Personally, if Silverstone *has* to be chopped (which thankfully doesn't look like it will unless Ferrari continue to sit on the fence over testing) I would like to see Donnington Park hold another race like it did in 1993. Be easier for me to get to anyway!!
www.planetf1.com (http://www.planetf1.com) seem to think that Bernie's grip on all things fiscal in F1 is coming to an end. The banks are suing him for the fact that they don't get a say in the sport even though they own a fair wedge (believe that paid for a nice Kensington palace for the Ecclestone family) and the manufacturers are creating their own breakaway series (which they'll never carry through but it all adds to the fun!!).
