Being a big fan of the musical Joseph and his amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, I've been watching the reality show "Any dream will do" on BBC1 Saturday nights.

Anyway I'd like to go and see whoever wins it in Joseph in London in September, but it's a lot of money at £50 a ticket for 3 of us me, Mum and Dad.

Is it worth it? Or should I save my money?

If you really like the musical, you'll only kick yourself if you miss out on seeing it. September is still quite a way off. Plenty of time to save up :) .

If the three of you make a big day out of it, go for a walk along the Thames, see some sights, go into one of the great museums or galleries, have a picnic in a park, etc, all of which are free or cheap, then see the big show, then you'll really get your money's worth out of the day and have a whole package of memories to treasure. It won't seem so expensive then. Go for it.

Now that sounds like a lovely day out - and if you really fancy seeing the show, I'd book it quickly before it gets sold out! (Then start saving! :hihi: )

If Bill Kenwright is producing it it'll be rubbish. I hate that man. He has ruined every musical he has hawked around the country for the last 20 years. It'll just be a souped up version of the touring production you can see at the lyceum every year for (a still extortionate) £25 a ticket.

OOh i hate him.

Go and see Wicked instead.

Yes if you like it unless there is something else you want to do more with the money. Take Purdy's advice and make a weekend of it. Have fun.
Don't these things sell out quicker than designer bags from Sainsburys anyway? No time to dilly dally.

Yeah they do sell out quick.

But I need to save £150 fast, oh well, it's Lottery night tonight :D

If you could know in advance who was going to be in the final it would be worth it. If Rob McVeigh gets to the final - that would be well worth it - as he is a local lad!

Yes - if it's great you'll love it. If it's pants you can moan about it on here for ages.
