From the website imbd:
'Alice's real name is revealed at the end on her passport as Jane Rachel Jones. Thus when Larry continually asks her for her real name, at the strip club, and she keeps telling him "Jane", she is telling the truth.'
Basically do we ever know if anyone is telling the truth?
I do like this film, enjoyed it on first view and then bought it and enjoyed it more the second time. I went on my first date with a(n) (ex) boyfriend to see it and he has also since bought it as he thought it was a good film too. He says he'd have written it off if he'd not seen it with me as an average chick flick when it's anything but.

oooohhhh yeah.. I get it now.. :) Cheers!!
One fo the best films ive seen to with relationships in a long time! Its how real people argue, and honesty at its best! Especially the bit where both Julia Roberts and Clive Owens charachter start ague about her cheating on him.. Very real. :)

I guess I was looking too far into it and thought that I may have missed a few clues whilst I was erm, distracted lol! :hihi:
Taking it at face value, I guess I should have appreciated it for being real :)
I thought it was going to be a chick flick with a happy ending lol

It sounds like it's a very sophisticated, grown-up, adult-view-of-relationships type-film. I looking foward to seeing it - and not just to see Clive Owen! :P

Yep, you'll enjoy it!! :D
The thing is, its appeal is that its real, its not what I wanted or expected to see.. I like to see a happy ending where they go off, get married and have kids lol but life isnt always like that..
I think I'll have to watch it again lol

I didn't know a great deal about it when I went to see it. I love the scene between Larry and Dan who is winding him up telling him he's a woman who is up for it via an internet chatroom. I was on an internet first date when I first saw it so that was quite funny :hihi: And I agree with you Ryan with the argument scene - Julia Roberts NEVER carried off like that in Pretty Woman!
