anyone remember watching this programme in the 70's.....i used to love watching whislt off ill from school or skiving to run errands for mi ma......if i remember rightly it was made up cases with actors playing the accused and witnesses but the jury were members of the public and had to decide if he/she was guilty or not......wish they'd repeat them

I used to love it. I recall the ominous theme tune too. They would begin with a half minute scene from the court, which would contain an appetiser for the drama o follow, along the lines of a grim judge addressing a cowed female defendant; "Are you a prostitute Mrs Beaumont?.....Are you?",or an angry middle-aged man shouting at the judge; "My daughter is NOT a WHORE!!", and then the stark, brooding theme would intone. Great fun!

It's linked in my mind with the dentists....

I had to have a fair amoount of dental work done after my face collided with someone's boot while playing rugby at school, and so Tuesday afternon's were spent, for a while, getting things sorted.

I'd come from school, wait for my mum to return from work and then off I'd go to the dentist for pain.

I have very mixed memories...:)
