Has anyone tried to book a flight on bmibaby.com with their solo card? I select the option and everything but it does not go through properly. I emailed them but never got a response. Any ideas because otherwise I have to use my Credit card with adds 4.85 extra.

I did it a few months ago everything was fine. Maybe a temp internet problem. Don't they have a helpline number?

Can you remember did you have to put in the issue number where it says "switch issue number" or did you leave it blank?

If your card has an issue number you would need to put it in or the transaction wouldn't be authorised. Besides I think solo cards are issued my switch or maestro as they are now called so you would definitely be required to put this is there.

I rang them and apparently there is a "problem" with HSBC solo cards and that's why I cannot use mine. Honestly, I think it's just a ploy to make more money by making me use a credit card!
