Watched a film with the wife last night and was pleasantly surprised to discover that parts of it were shot in The Peak! The film was The Princess Bride and showed Higger Tor/Burbage, Cavedale, and (I think) Haddon Hall. Anyone know of any others shot around here (Full Monty does not count!)

I'll have a film showing The Headstone or Cock Crowing Stone or Stump John. Though I doubt that it will be comparable with others. I've got to start sometime!!
Wasn't the end of the original HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxy shot in the White Peak?

I don't know, but what I'm certain of is:
' They would not have employed me as their photographer '!!
I've been many a time in the wood where Rodents of Unusual Size reside and I've never seen one yet. Or a wallaby. Disappointed on both counts!
There was a truly dreadful film a couple of years back, whose title escapes me, where this chap goes on a sccoter from Sheffield to Blackpool. Via the Wind farm on the way to Huddersfield and the Strines Inn and it took him days to do it. Daftest film geography I've come across.
Among Giants - Peter Postlethwaite+ Rachel Griffiths run around in the Tinsley Cooling towers. Naked as you do!!
Whatever Happened to Harold Smith?
The Priciples Of Lust.
Dead Mans Shoes is shot around Matlock/Daley Dale.
The filming of the latest Pride & Prejudice was based at Rowsley and featured Stannage Edge.
