Well, whether or not any were illegal immigrants will have to be seen.
If any were, there should be quite a few posters on here with egg on their faces after the "there can't be any, it's on a main road!!" statements that were aired last time this place was mentioned.

I'm personally not saying I do or don't think they were illegals, it's just that the above statement was a stupid point to make.

No different just a change in the market, scrotes are too good for car washing these days - so somebody else filled the gap in the market. Not that I agree with it but there wouldn't be such a 'curfuffal' about it if it was dole "bludgers nabbed for cash in hand antics."

hmm seems interesting as my cousin yous't to work their before they had illegal imigrants, but now every car wash place like this seems to have them, easy money.

they dont only wash cars there though , they sell cars, there might have been something a bit fishy going on with that. i have took my car there a few times but i wont go again cause they were rubbish and ignorant and never smiled or said thank you when they snatched your money out of your hand. :suspect:

Ive drove past late at night and seen them all sat inside at about 12 oclock watching TV at night ! They live there as well as work there!

My Suspicions were Correct Then!!!! I knew i was right, and people questioned me saying i was rascist!!! You make me laff them people!

As I've said earlier on this thread, the comment more than one person made that they couldn't employ illegals because it was on a main road was plain stupid. Wonder how many keep quiet now??

I know people kept saying on the previous post, "If they are making a living then their not harming anybody" But in a way they are affecting other business, for instance The CAr wash futher down Queens Road! Theyeve had to reduce their prices! And there perfectly legit!

I'm cautious of machines though, the Tesco station on Abbeydale Road have a machine that damaged my car :(

There's one at the bottom of Ecclesall road. Apparently it's run by 'Dave and Julie'. Their prices went up late last year due to 'VAT'. I asked for a VAT recipt but got a hand written stub signed by 'Julie'.

Has to be said though, they do a corking job on the car.

I just used the one at Meadowhead, the machine on by the Norton pub. I paid for the 'ultimate wash', which is the top one. It was an ultimate farce. The windows and front of the vehicle still have flies stuck and the passenger window still has a mark on it. The wheels aren't clean in the gaps and it looks like it's had a 5 minute mop up with a bucket and sponge.

That's another on my avoidance list.

I was next to this car wash in a queue of traffic the other week - some young school girls were subjected to a stream of comments, clearly sexual and totally inappropriate, (the girls were no more than thirteen possibly younger).
I found myself glaring at the guy nearest me - not wise but just a reaction.

It didn't appear to me to be the best way of endearing themselves to a host nation - but then we're such a soft touch that they must feel they can get away with anything.

The comments you witnessed being made sound like they are more to do with the individual making them and not really a sign that every imigrant would make them.

I know you aren't insinuating that, but there are some on this site that would put this person's nationality not being British with the fact that they made those comments when that shouldn't be the case.

Maybe, but it was ALL of them making comments - whooping etc. And I get the feeling it is a way of expressing contempt generally.
Of course - I would HATE to offend these poor men. Wouldn't want to put them off coming here, especially as the French are reopening their Chunnell Express waiting room.

I don't really have the space and often time to do so.

There have been people that did a good job, but sadly the place closed and now these other places appear to do rather poor jobs.

My search continues.
