I'm looking for a buy-to-let mortgage provider with better terms than what the Woolwich could offer me...

They offer:
best interest atm

5.54% (tracker, thus variable)
Can borrow up to 75% of property value
Rental income must be at least 130% of monthly interest

£275 for survey (incl report)
£350 application fee

Anybody knows of better terms? Must be a reputable outfit still please...

Get yourself a financial advisor. If they are independent then they should be able to show you lots of deals that suit your priorities.
130% rental to loan is standard. So are some fees such as valuation and arrangement. Buy-to-let loans do not have such favourable terms as domestic mortgages. If you do a search for 'buy-to-let' loans on the computer you will get lots of options such as Charcol, or mortgage intelligence and you can compare them.
Independent advisors sometimes have favourable loans that only those can take out who are affiliated to the organisation they belong to. they do not charge you, they get paid by the banks etc and you still do not pay more.
I have some with Northern Rock and one with Nat West (fixed) - all quite good. I got these thru' an advisor though I am sure you could get one direct.

Try the moneycentre on the internet or any estate agent
