Mozie is usually pretty laid back but lately he has taken to bullying Hanni (cannot say that I blame him there :hihi: ) Anyway several times I have heard Hanni crying and found Mozie standing over her, biting her neck. If they hadn't both been neutered I would have suspected that he was planning to have his wicked way with her. However, she is quite obviously not willing .... She is the youngest cat of all four and although she is quite lively, she is also submissive to them.
Any ideas why he has started to do this? More to the point, how can I stop him?
dominance - and its spring isnt it- hormones are all out of kilter - our barmy bengal is neutered but wont leave our little Havana girl alone at the moment- keeps trying to mount her, picks on her, chases her around the house - I havent used Feliway for a while but Im going to order a couple of refills and get it plugged in sometime this week, see if that calms him down...
Let me know if the Feliway works - I have just caught him doing it again. Its odd, because he has never done it before.
Alfie is being an absolute horror at the moment (Feliway hasnt arrived yet!) - this morning, he attacked his little Havana sister, followed by the norwegian forest cat and finally he took a bite out of our dobermutt's leg (not a wise move at the best of times) - poor Ailsa yelped so loud but fortunately loves her little bengal brother so much she did not attack him. Not sure she wouldve been quite so forgiving if it had been any of the others. We know he's barmy but he's not normally quite this bad, hence I think its seasonal/ hormonal in some way. Will keep you posted on the Feliway.
