Hiya i would ring round your local vets, because they all vary in price.

PDSA do injections.

Hiya
I have rung about 4 vets and they are all giving different prices. Not much in them but I wondered if anyone could recommend anyone too?

My puppy has just had hers. We paid £25 per injection at Abbeymore on Halifax Rd. I know we could have got it slightly cheeper elsewhere but its the closest vets to us and our cats are registerd with them. Pups have their first injection at 8 weeks then the 2nd at 12 weeks. Then you have to wait a further week before they can go out.

I thought it was 8 weeks old for first injections. I am quite close to the vets on Halifax oad, my parents took their dog there and they were great with her. I have used them previously too with the staffy I had that passed away but I have moved since then.

Thanks for your advice and comments everyone!

Whilst choosing a vets, consider their out of hours arrangements - prices can hike quite considerably if you are forced to use an out of hours service, so look at opening times and whether they have their own cover or use the Vets Now service - which Brude won't be going to again if I can help it

abby vet group at high green are good and seem priced resonably on stuff like that. have used another vets recently for neutering (due to our own vets differing policy on it), but NOT going to recommend them, as my dogs came home stinking to high heaven (to the point i bathed them because of the smell!, and our breed have no 'doggy' smell at all normally, so not impressed considereing they had obviously ben placed on dirty vetbed following surgery, and also de-flead them just to be sure!)
