Hello everyone

I've got a wirless modem router the BT 2Wire model and wand to be able to use my laptop or pc in the attic while the modem router will be in the living room. Whats the best device to use which will be good enough to pick up the signal from downstairs. I've seen some usb adapters 10mtr range and also netork cards but dont know which one has the best range as the usb adpater is cheaper???

The USB-wireless adapters tend to be a little flakey... PC-cards for laptops (or PCI-cards for desktops) should work better. However, the quality of the signal you get will probably depend more on many other factors... distance between devices, house building materials, other wireless networks nearby, etc.
