Well, on my pc it does anyway. Ever since the clocks changed, it's gained an hour every time its switched off and on again.
I don't rely on the time it says but it plays havoc with the automatic updates.
We've put it right a couple of times but then, it starts all over again.
Can anybody please give me any suggestions what to do.:)
I mean the pc clock...not the forum clock by the way. That one is perfect.

Where is SF clock Joan.I keep hearing Jokes about it, but never use it cos I dont know where it is. Does it really affect automatic updates ? I wouldnt have thought it would make any difference to them, as they are "automatic"

I don't mean the forum clock Pattricia. but if you scroll down to the bottom of the page it says "all times are gmt+1. the time is now.....whatever.....that's the forum clock.

joan IF its doing it everytime youve put it right, the CMOS battery could be going, its like a large watch battery inside the puter that keeps all the settings, time etc going as they should.

Try this utility. It works.
Atomic Clock Sync (http://www.download.com/Atomic-Clock-Sync/3003-2350_4-10316305.html)
Why use the utility? Windows has a built in option....
double click the clock on your task bar, when the box pops up click "Internet time" and select it to auto synch, and then select a server..

lists of other servers can be found via google
