One of the highlights (and admittedly there weren't very many) of the now defunct 'Live TV' channel was a regular programme in which two lissom and curvaceous young ladies, both au naturel, used to daub and slather each other's bodies with bright paint of various colours. The programme had a standard format: the ladies would be shown reclining voluptuously near buckets of paint. They would then proceed to dip brushes in the buckets and proceed to paint patterns on each other in various hues, until they were both almost fully painted, from head to toe. The scene was accompanied throughout by soft, gentle piano music. The girls always looked to be in a happy, playful mood, which added to the appealing ambiance. The glistening paint seemed to accentuate the curviness of their curves and gave an additional lustre to their skins. Once the ladies were painted, they both proceeded to a shower room, where they helped each other to wash and sponge off every last rivulet of paint. I must confess to finding this programme curiously appealing and tastefully erotic.
Perhaps the fact that the girls in question were always pert young fillies does much to explain why I found it so pleasing. But it may also have been due to some atavistic feelings going back to the time of our woad-slathered and ochre-daubed ancestors, or to distant memories of playing around with paints as a child. Anyway, I think we ought to create an SF Body Painting group, which I will wager will have an even wider appeal than even the writing, knitting or cat lovers' groups. I would be happy to provide the paints and soft music and would also be willing to convert one of my cellars into a painting room, providing some of my favourite SF ladies, such as Cloudbay, Sparkle, Hecate, Purdyamos, Pattricia, babychickens and foxy, were willing to join this potentially colourful group.
