She's home with me now, shes extremely thin. The last 4 babies were up so high I don't think she could move them down on her own.

I'm really not impressed with the vets though, she was covered in blood and had nothing to keep her warm, but still they charged me £103.

I don't mind paying it, I'd pay it 10 times over, I was just so upset to see her in that state.

She's now sat on towels in a small cage so not to get too exited and hurt herself. She's sat on a hot water bottle covered with an old towel. They gave me Batryl to give to her 0.2ml twice a day but no pain meds, seems a bit odd to me. She's got a post op check up on saturday then in 10 days time an appointment to have the stitches removed.

Awwww- poor Cari.

Doesn't sound like the vets performed that well- if they don't understand that that sort of thing is distressing for humans then they could do with informing.

Glad that you were on top of things and got her there in time though- well done.

Is she suckling? That could be why they didnt give her pain meds? Glad to here she is OK.

Possibly Em. Its on an "Island" Sooz, all babies were removed dead so no, she's not suckling. I have been giving her 0.2ml of Calpol though
