A few weeks ago i bought some Whitworths dried apricots. They were in date but when i opened them they had some mould on them. I was very hungry at the time but not that hungry so i rang Whitworths and they said to send them back. Well today i got a package. This contained Ten packets of dried apricots, £5 in vouchers and 10 recipe cards. Also there was a rather long letter of apology which was obviously not one of those template ones that goes out as stadard.
I must say hats off to Whitworths:clap:
And ive already polished of one pack:hihi:

It may be wise to use your £5 voucher to invest in a plentiful supply of bog roll.....

To be honest the bad bag didnt stop me buying them at all but i know what you mean.:)
It just seems so over the top for such a minor issue. Not complaining though:D

I once bought some washed, ready to eat raspberries from M&S. After eating a couple at work for lunch I found an insect in the pack. When I left work that night I took them back and was given a refund which I was happy with and they got me to fill out a customer refund form. A few days later I got a really long letter of apology explaining the process ready to eat foods go through and £25 in vouchers which was a nice suprise.
