It's on tonight. Will you be watching this?
Just wondered whether people will watch it, and then discuss it here afterwards.

View Full Version : Nick Broomfield Documentary - Ghost Bago 17-04-2007, 21:31 It's on tonight. Will you be watching this? Bago 17-04-2007, 22:02 Never mind... it's on Freeview's More4, which I can't access. :( Doh! lectrolove 18-04-2007, 00:39 I really wanted to see it but had to be out and about doing Mum's Taxi duties, so I'm hoping I'll be able to catch up with it on TVOD. If anyone did see it I'd like to hear their views. SamJG 18-04-2007, 01:03 I was really looking forward to this, as I saw a trailer for it in January, but missed it when it was on at the Showroom. I sat down to watch it, but my horrifically inadequate freeview box decided to stop working properly about twenty-five minutes in, and More 4 'disappered' from the channel list. Bago 18-04-2007, 01:33 What's TVOD? I have a bad aerial, not even a freeview box either, so...it's a bit annoying to see the advert all day and getting excited about watching it! Doh. Doh. :hihi: I've seen his work on Aileen, which was quite good. So, I was quite surprised when I learnt today that he did a another documentary. Do you know where I can get a copy of this ? lectrolove 18-04-2007, 11:20 What's TVOD? TVOD = TV On Demand, it's a Virgin Media thing that lets you watch programmes you've missed at a time to suit you. Not all programmes are made available though. Broomfield's made lots of documentaries, Ghosts is unusual in his work in that it's actually a dramatised account rather than a documentary. http://www.nickbroomfield.com/home.html BasilRathbon 18-04-2007, 11:25 I like the scene with Demi Moore and the potters wheel. |
