OK, so this may be a shot in the dark...not the most modern and popular of past-times:lol:

Anyone out there got any ideas on pre/early medieval monastery gardens?
Practical info...we're going to create one.:D

It's a pity you didn't ask earlier as the famous entertainer Ronnie Ronalde -dubbed the Whistling Wizard -always included Monastery Garden in his music-hall repertoire.
Despite his advancing years this 80 year old performer has just completed a whistle-stop tour of North of England venues.
Sadly I think he has now returned to rest his tired lips in his adopted home in New Zealand.
