Is American Bulldog the same as American Pitbull? If so, the're not very nice. I'm with miniminch. Call it Brady.

If it's not the same thing call it Floyd (don't know why).

What about calling it "penis extension". That's what big, aggresive dogs usually are. Why are we hearing so much about this bloody animal, anyway?

Strix
07-11-2004, 00:44
Can't see the pic.

If you don't like dogs, what are you doing here?

Can all the poodle/cat lovers take their unpleasant comments elsewhere? People like you guys worry me. This sort of behavior usually goes hand in hand with allowing kids to run riot, causing themselves or others either harm or discomfort.

I have some very strong views about dog teasing, by the way, and even stronger ones about snappy small dogs who are untrained because they're not big enough to rip a face off. They can still do damage, or cause infection.

Give me a well trained Grott any day.

I come on to the SF and look at the threads every day. If there is a topic i do not like, have no interest in or have any constructive comments about, i just scroll past. It's an easy thing to do but if you are having problems using the scroll function on your pc then you can always start another thread asking for instructions?.

Well, you may think it was stupid, but many people do buy aggressive dogs for that very reason - ie to make them look tough. Hence the flippant comment. It's called taking the p**s out of a trivial and pointless thread. Get over it.

What a pretty little girl, I'm sure Oscar will be pleased to have a "sister".

Sometimes, you have to live with the dog for awhile, then their name comes to you.

How about:

Mimi--from the Drew Carey show. Do you get that over there?

Zoe--my neighbor's pug

Diva--my neighbor's other pug. They also have a male named.....Pugsley

Maggie--yet another neighbor's border collie

Sky(e)--my sister's scottish terrier

Angel--our pit bull terrier we had as kids

Alcohol names

Brandy or Kahlua?

In California precious mineral names for girls are popular

Silver or Gold(y) So help me, my husband has an Aunt named Silver. Really.

Kelly?

Pebbles?

Missy?

Jade?

Since she's an American Bulldog, how about:

Dallas
or
Reno

Nina (spanish for girl)

Blanca (spanish for white)

Good luck, let us know what you decide on!

i don't know if you've noticed but this thread was started weeks ago for my other dog....we get so much pleasure from him we felt he should have a mate so we could have 2 of the little buggers.......so in about 2 years time if your young'n is ok you know where to come for a pup:thumbsup:

here's the other one aged 11 weeks he's 5 month now

That dog is absolutley beautiful, good on you for getting him a pal.And if all goes well in a couple of years i will take you up on that offer. Not only do we get so much pleasure from the little things but they are so good for the kids as well, fun, loyal and loving.Your kids will have two fantastic little companions there.Happy days to remember.

No that was my friend Penny who was having a fancy dress party, at her house and I went as a french onion johnny. The onions were a right nusence, as I'd had to warm them up in the microwave to thread the string through, and they were leaking onion juice down me.

Most other people went as 70's mustachioed flare wearers or punks, I lke to keep my reputation of being more original than that. A week later it had caught on and lodge moor was full of 20 somethings dressed as frenchmen.

A word to the wise, bake your onions in the oven for 45 minutes the night before...
