My friend has asked me to put a post on here. Its all a bit complicated but the basics are that Jed a 7 year old Heinz 57 needs a new home.

He's a beautiful, funny and loving doggy. Unfortunately due to a total change in lifestyle and apathetic adult children who just won't take him for walks she feels he needs a home where he will get the attention and walks he deserves.

I myself would jump at the chance to have him and my kids would love it but as I'm not here half of the week its just not fair on him.

There isn't any chance that my friend can keep him as she also is out everyday and some weekends so it wouldn't be fair on him. So, Jed is great with children, has tolerated ear tugging and all that comes with little porgs, he is house trained and has very good manners. Anyone want to give him a second chance?

And sorry, I don't think Jed is keen on pussy cats. :(

It may be worth me asking.....

can you have him between you?

There have already been a couple of forumers who have been able to come to a pet share arrangement :)

Does your friend know about our members who offer pet walking services?

She's moving out of the area so thats not really an option Strix. She doesn't want to leave him with her grown up kids, (they won't take care of him properly) Its such a shame because he's a smashing dog. Plus I have the cat..

If you send pics and a write up to us, we will put the poor lad on our web site under the private homings section.

This thread is almost 2 years old, I think that the dog will have been rehomed by now.
