What a superb series on BBC2 it really showed the truth behind all this terorist situation I hope as many as possible watched it as it was a real eyeopener.
Has to be one of the most thought provoking progs for a long time,we need more of this type of prog to make us question our leaders a little more.

I wondered when someone would mention this programme. It has to be one of the best I've seen in years. Shame it was on BBC2 because it deserved a bigger audience. Certainly opens ones eyes about the way the world is.

i enjoyed this too, i found it really informative but i did think it protrayed kissinger in a rather favourable light considering some of the stuff i've read about him.

I thought it more described what kissenger had tried to do in a propoganda way, but gave the underlying reasons at the same time. Surprised it was on the BBC at all.

What it showed is that Kissinger's lack of morality was preferable to the questionable morality of the Neo Conservatives.

I don't have TV, but this is one program I would really have liked to have watched.
It seems even though on Beeb2 everyone I know has something to say about it.

Might see if someone taped it...

i must have fell asleep when it suggested that kissinger had a lack of morality - the part that i saw didn't give that impression at all...

What I mean is that, for example, in Iraq, Kissinger would have favoured leaving Saddam Hussain in place, because it would cause a lot of trouble to invade Iraq (as it is proving) whereas the neo conservative take is that Saddam Hussain is an evil dictator who must be removed.

So Kissinger favours pragmatism, Neo Conservatives favour moral crusade.

I admit that the Neo Conservatives are screaming hypocrites, but they do claim to be acting from a moral perspective.
