As part of a community history project we're holding a heritage week in June, culminating in heritage day on Saturday 23rd June. It should be really fun, in great surrounding and we're expecting several thousand people to attend.

The offices (which you can see on the front page of our website www.kivetonparkandwaleshistoryproject.org.uk) are going to be turned into a museum, and there will be lots of events in the grounds of the old colliery. We thought it would be wonderful if we could get together a small collection of classic and vintage cars for the day.
