for a spey, dental and microchipping. Im so nervous for her. Only two hours and 20 minutes till we can ring....:help: I feel really mean too:(

I was the same with my poppy it was so strange being home without my shadow following me especially when I went to the food cupboard as she usually sits there giving the big doe eye look for treats.

You may feel mean sooz- but you're doing the best for her that you can.

Every time I've taken a cat to the vets for spay/neuter I've asked the vet 'I am doing the right thing, aren't I?' to which the answer is 'of course you are. There are too many unwanted animals in this world to allow your animals to breed accidentally, and if they aren't allowed to breed then for girlies, having their bits removed reduces the risk of cancer and internal infections'.

Aww bless ! she'll be fine, although I was a mess everytime mine went.

I know :rolleyes: Ive got used to it with the bunnies but we have only had Poppy a week and I dont want her to hate us....I made Phil take her so she thinks he is the mean one and I am going to pick her up and 'Rescue' her :hihi:

So her 'trial' week is over? :)

Can only echo what everyone else has said - I felt exactly the same when I took Tabitha a few weeks ago and you wouldn't believe it now with her bouncing round the house!
Special hugs to Poppy:) - great name btw - reminds me of a dear old cat we had at home when I was a child :thumbsup:

Poppy was back to her bouncy self today although I had to carry her home from the vets after she refused to get off the bus and walk. She fell asleep in my arms and looked rather like she had died....so i got lots of funny looks.

She is still tired ans sore but otherwise happy. Her new tag has arrived too. :)
