Things only happen to people because they are so focused on being careful and something not happening to them, they don't concentrate fully on what they are doing.

Saying that my worst Friday 13th was when I was kid and I had an argument with a food mixer. The food mixer won and ripped a big chunk of hair out of my head :mad: Still, serves me right for not tying my hair back like mommy said :D

There is a famous animal experiment (?skinner) who showed that he could induce "superstitious" behaviour in pigeons by feeding them at random. The birds repeated the actions they happened to be doing at the time the food was presented in the mistaken belief that it was the action that cause the effect. Fools!!! Bwahahahaha!


In other words if you are superstitious you are no better than a pigeon brain :hihi:

I am agoraphobic, claustrophobic, as well as brontophobic and arachnophobic...
