Probably will sink straight to the bottom with no posts, but I'm over the ****ing moon to be honest with you.

I'll almost certainly forget about it and end up not going but I have to agree that this is pant-wettingly exciting!

Have you ever come across DEV2.0? It's their side project made up of 12 year olds doing Devo songs in a style supposed to appeal to da yoof of today. It's quite astounding and highly recommended (although a lot of my Devo loving chums were pretty horrified so maybe it only works if you like Devo and S Club 7 like me!)

I don't know if I have come across that. I did once see some really young school kids dressed in devo gear singing Whip It, so maybe that was it. Tickets are £35!!!! But I don't...think....I...can...resist!

That'll be them!

They do a great version of Uncontrollable Urge on the LP. Shame they don't do Mongoloid though

Anyway back to the gig - THIRTY FIVE QUID?!?!?!?! To watch a bunch of old men wearing flowerpots on their heads?!?!?! IT'S A BARGAIN!! :D

I was also after a couple of albums called something like hardcore Devo, which is raw versions of the songs. Looking into this Dev2.0, they're a Disney thing! What's all that about! http://disney.go.com/disneyrecords/Song-Albums/devo20/

Why didn't my parents get me into Dev2.0 when I was younger? For the first time, I think they've failed me.

Ha ha - yeah, I forgot to mention the Disney thing!

It's kosher Devo product though - Gerald Casale put it together and they all play on the LP.

Genius idea IMHO

They've been touring Japan and the US a lot, but have pretty much ignored the UK until now.
