But were they definitely big mice or very young rats? Mind you I don't know rodents very well, they probably look completely different. I suppose it's not that uncommon for rodent owners to accidentally have the wrong combination of genders and end up with babbies and let them loose not knowing what else to do. Definately adult mice i would think but bigger than the little grey wild ones which the tame ones seem to be, how strange i couldn't believe my eyes when i saw them, just hope now that there will be no more  Lotti 13-04-2007, 08:51 That's awful! I don't know much about rodents but the white colour is something that coincides with domestication so it sounds as though someone has unleashed domestic mice :( It'd be nice to think that they just thought they'd be happier off in the wild (a child maybe) but I doubt it :( Moonbird 13-04-2007, 09:09 It'd be nice to think that they just thought they'd be happier off in the wild (a child maybe) but I doubt it :( Yeah me to , i have a feeling they were put on my garden for me to find but the cats got there first, next time lets hope they leave them in the cage :suspect: carpetviper 13-04-2007, 11:28 Or they could have been the defrosted ones I put in the bin on monday as My Rat snake is in the middle of a shed and didn't want his they were about 4" long and they were small rats he only ate one so the others went in the bin. Maybe the cats somehow got them out of the dustbin. We often get white and black baby bunnies in our garden at this time of year. I think a domestic bunny must have escaped and set up home nearby. They're soooo cute! |
