out of interest does anyone know whats happenin with the red lion on chesterfield rd??? i see its all boarded up now. back in the day before it was a "q's" it used to be well nice boozer. i know it were it a bit dodgy towards the end but had a nice sun trap of a beer garden and im sure with a little work could still be a busy little pub like white lion and the crown...

oh yeah, nice one. i used to live with the boy hoy who has posted on that thread. i went to see him the other day and passed by, thats what stirred my interest in whats happenin wi the place. i agree with most posts in that it could be a good food pub (sundays particularly, with a decent beer garden and families in the area). just about sick of all thses apartments blighting quirky areas of sheffield.

I agree, not necessarily about the apartments, but about the pub. We spent some happy hours in the garden as kids, we used to live on Artisan View, which is the next road along.
