Is that scaffold still there at the bottom end of the castle st markets.It was erected to form a walkway up to the top floor .It was supposed to be a temporary structure when the markets were built but I presume It became a permament feature.I wonder if It was hired or bought outright.whatever it must have cost a bob or two ,it was there years.I wonder who payed for it.
