the delivery van is going to turn up with my tickets in the hour and a half I'll be out.
I've got to take my gran to hospital and go to the bank. I've been sat here all morning working and I'll be back around 2. But I know for certain that they'll call when I'm out!

Ofcourse they will... Thats how it happens!
Oh and when you order something and they say they'll deliver between 8 and 6... You wait in all day and the doorbell goes at 5.55pm!

Ooh! Tickets for what? And why are they being delivered in a van? Are they super-enormous like those cheques people have their photo taken with in local papers?

I`m sure they sit at the end of the road, up a tree, in camo gear waiting for you to leave.

It's my Arctic monkey tickets :D

I know... why can't they at least say morning or afternoon.

The ironic thing is that if i want anything delivered I usually have them to my grandmothers but it's her I'm taking!

I'll have to go for the neighbour option Scoop... mm Asbos downstairs or nice person across the road?

I know! That's why I don't like doing it! But seeing as my neighbours aren't that great at the moment I really don't like doing it although they know when i am in and i'm not because of the car.

Yes - someone appears to have taken the huge wad of £20 notes I pile up in the middle of my lounge:nod: Other than that things seem to be normal.. twenty minutes to go of delivery time... we ought to do a sweepstake on the time they will come... the winner gets to go with me ;)

My housemate told me that at his last house the postman, when delivering a parcel, would just put the 'sorry we missed you' card through the door without even trying the bell! He was unemployed for a while so was quite often in when they came...

Argos were delivering an item for me last week. The slot was between 10.00am and 11.30. at 10.15am they called to say that they may be a little bit late due to the van being packed solid. They arrive at 11.20am. Now that's what I call true service!

whats worse is when you've been told to wait for a delivery between 12 noon and 6pm to find out the plonker who organised it forgot to put it into the computer, so no one turns up
