Hi guys,

I'm trying to desensitize Takara a bit. She's not happy about strangers entering the house but obviously I want her to learn that once she's alerted us to someone being there, it's up to us what happens.

Trouble is, she knows when it's someone she knows and trusts coming to the door and I'm never prepared for strangers.

If you fancy coming over for a cuppa I need people (not dogs, for now - dogs in the house comes later ;) ) to be able to come over and phone before they come down the drive to give me a chance to prepare, stand outside for as long as it takes for Takara to calm down, and ignore her once they enter the house (none of my relatives will do this).
