My Husband stopped at Hoyland common to fill up at a save garage, he nipped to the cash point just outside, asked it for £100 he heard the machine counting the cash, his card came back and on the screen was please take your money, but there was no money... he has been told he has to get a dispute form, the money was debited from his account and has not been put back so far! has this happened to anyone else?

yes this happened to me at Barclays on Commercial Street in Sheffield, apparantly that was a regular thing with that particular machine, i got my money refunded about a week later

same thing happened to me at swiggys on chesterfield road (atm machine)
asked for £200 it gave me £30 and said id had £200 which had come out of my account (believe me i wasnt happy)

told my bank what had happened (rbs) they gave me a overdraft and claimed the money back for me, they were great really helpful.
got the money back into my account about 7/10 days later.

These days I never ever use a cash machine unless its situated inside of the bank that I use tending to get cash back from Tescos or whatever, but I understand that this is not an option at times.

THERE ISNT A SAVE GARAGE ON HOYLAND COMMON...........ITS ONLY A SHELL AND THERE IS ALSO A JET GARAGE
