This weekend I ate once again at La Gondola...after having eaten in quite a few Italian restaurants in Sheffield - all of which have been good - I really do rate this place!
So its not the trendiest, s****iest etc etc...but the service is great and the food is superb and excellent value for money!
I highly recommend this place if you dont want to pay through the nose and want tasty food!

Yes I had a meal recently there - it is even better since the new revamp !
Although the old more authentic Italian look also had a good feel to it - miss the strolling guitar player and the dancing on the tables :-)

We had our works x-mas meal there and i was far from impressed. I think maybe we just caught them on a bad day as other people i know that have been have liked it.

it's gorgeous i agree!!! ham wrapped in chicken and cheese sauce was amazing...sorry i don't remember the italian name for it but it was fab!

Gosh is La Gondola still going. I used to go there regularly always had a good meal. Nice to know that some places still remain and continue to give good service.

yes got to agree the food is delicious i go there most weeks and have tried almost all there dishes and never been disappointed got to say my favs are chicken and ham farfalle and fillet steak dianne (i think thats how you spell it??) im so hungry now:hihi:
I go there all the time, I have tried most of the dishes,The food is lovely. Staff are very friendly and make the place feel relaxed and enjoyable. One of my best birthdays was spent there...i reccommend this place to anyone who wants a nice meal with a good atmosphere.
