There were a couple of offensive versions of my name which at least one person on this forum has worked out...:)

However, most people called me Joe or Weeble. The latter came from my rugby playing days. I was slightly rotund and hard to push over in the tackle, so I was called Weeble....

'cos I wobbled but I didn't fall down.

Joe

Captain was mine - how original for someone called Kirk.

It's funny how everyone (even to this day) who calls me Captain or Captain Kirk thinks it must be the first time I've heard it and should laugh with them.

PENGIUN...

Reason being because i wore my sisters size 5 shoes to school when i'm only a 4... :?

I knew the shoes were going to be too big for me so i stuffed the toes full of tissue making them a snug fit or so i thought... That was until i started to walk to school in them... an someone from behind me decideds to shout out pengiun lol I was waddling along like a pengiun... walking flat footed basically  I had no time either to go back and change :( so i was the waddling pengiun for the day... But the name seemed to stick Tut.... :)

I think pengiuns are cute so i didnt mind o much...

My mate in Wakefield used to call me Gibbon Head pmsl no reasoning why... well i hope there wasnt... hmmmm :? We still laugh and joke about that one now... Might have to ask her why 'Gibbon Head' makes i chuckle

There are many others but there remaining top secret ;) so ner... lol

Jecca/Jekjek

My next door neighbour couldn't say Jessica when he was little so he used to call me Jecca. My friend's at school found out and a couple of them still call it me.

My other mate calls me J though, what a lazy git. Can't even be bothered to say Jess *rollseyes*

Jessycar came from another friend as well. She called her car Jessycar after me

I've been called at previous jobs:

At school it was Oliver Twist (maiden name being Oliver  ) or Mavis (Cruet) fat fairy in children's prog Willo the Wisp.

At university it was Catfish (there is a story behind that but I'm not telling it here).

My sister has several nicknames for me (most of which are far too offensive to put up on here) I think Stan is the only polite one she calls me (got that after the reporter with local paper got my name wrong :frown: )

Current ones are "Prawn" & "Eclair". Have two fab forum friends to thank for those :P

When I was little my nick name was mamfi as my brother couldn't say Samantha.

At senior school it was usually Freak, Morticia or Mrs Adams as I was a goth.

For some strange reason, close friends then started calling me Spaj, but I still have no understanding why!!!!

Don't seem to have a nickname these days
