:mad: seeing as my bus surprisingly did'nt turn up again,i decided to try and save further time by cathing an alternative,so walked around the corner to galsworthy bus stop to wait for the 0555 hrs 'all of a sudden some mad idiot in a white transit van drove at high speed through the puddle in front of the bus stop covering myself and some other poor old dear,if given that you managed to write down the reg number what steps would you take,other than buy a rain mack.
oh by the way the driver of this van did screech to a halt outside the paper shop,jumped out of the van leaving the engine running and entered the shop,upon exiting the shop the old dear asked him if he thought that was funny (drenching here through),to which he just grunted back F*&^ "£$ you silly old C"£$ and laughed.
is there anything the authorities could do??

Yes, there is something the authorities can do. Driving through a puddle at high speed can be classed as driving without due care and attention. Report it to the police - they probably wont do anything but if you're lucky they may send him a letter saying that they have had a comlpaint. It may make him think twice about doing it again.
