Does anyone know of any up and coming xmas or new year dinner dance/ball in the area? Preferably black tie, bought posh outfits for a work do, may as well get another wear out!

Last year we went to a New Year ball at the Hilton. It was a proper 5 course meal, complete with band and 'Ray Von' DJ. It cost about £80 for the meal and dance, if you wanted a room it was about £120. It was a quality night with good food and tunes, although there were a few olds there. I'd imagine that they'd do much the same thing again.
