Fantastic thanks Draggletail:thumbsup:

I've had a lovefilm trial before about 3 years ago but use a different e-mail, address and credit card and the job seems a good 'un! Hopefully I they won't notice :suspect: Free DVD rentals for 3 months

Great offer as most companies only offer one months or 5 DVDS free.

For more information on renting DVD online have a look at http://www.rentmedvds.com/.

I'm already a customer but Love Film (formerly known as Screen Select) is absolutely superb. I've been a member for a few years now.

Can I use this 3 months free thing?

I already had a trial and was unhappy with the service so I cancelled and they sent me a 3 month trial in the post to 'say sorry' so you can use this trial if you had one already.

Why were you unhappy?

Why were you unhappy?

Cos they sent me a disc (one of the woeful Crow sequels) that had been smashed and seemingly 'welded' back together, I sent it straight back, and ticked the faulty disc box and they didn't send me my next dvd out. I thought, I don't wanna be paying for this, if they're going to send me faulty discs out AND then not send me anymore out. So I cancelled. I understand most people don't have a problem with them, but if I'm paying for a service, I want the service to run smoothly.

I've had quite a few discs that have been scratched to buggery. I just send them back and add them back to my list again. No prob whatsoever!

I've just registered thanks to Dragon tail.
I've just read the terms and conditions and the only slight concern is this clause:

9.3 You agree to treat the discs and their associated packaging with the utmost care at all times. You agree that we may charge your payment method if it is returned in an unreasonable condition (reasonable wear and tear accepted). In this event, we will give you advance notice before charging you. We will charge you £20 per damaged DVD

If they have sent out damaged discs before how can you prove that it wasn't you that hadn't damaged the disc and thus avoiding the £20 charge?

You'd just have to argue it and hope for the best! I've never had any that have had more than just general wear & tear so I dunno!!

Just thought I'd add, for anyone who intends to cancel when the free trial period ends, leave enough time! You need to allow for items still in the post to you to be received and sent back before the trial period ends.
So to be safe, I reckon cancel at the very latest a week before, maybe even 10 days - wouldn't want to end up paying for a month, eh ;)

And lastly, I hear that the the offer isn't on for much longer.

And no, I'm not on commision ;)
