Much of the following is based on fact, gleaned from many happy wanderings. It's just that some people don't share the opinions.

Enjoy!

My apologies are due here. I missed reading this until today, Hopman.

It is so funny and I enjoyed it tremendously. Brilliant!

Another good one by Hopman.
It certainly gave me a few titters.
Nice one.

My parents were very fond of taking us on package tour coach holidays. This certainly brought back some memories - and reminded me why I've never inflicted the same on my children :hihi:

Your brochure mentioned the swimming pool in the hotel, and if I am correct, the word “heated” was used. This heating was somewhat lacking during our visit according to Mr Roberts from Crewe who complained both that the water was cold and that the ice was not strong enough to bear his weight.

I really liked this one, especially the increasingly stroppy replies from the beleaguered coach company ( I have today instructed the hotel staff to search the hotel for the fly, and should they locate it, we will, of course be more than happy to forward it on to you.)

Classic lines! :hihi:

Inspired by Shoeshine’s exhortation to “get stuck in and cover my embarrassment by a few stories about your life/adolescence/holiday/kids/pets” and recalling a previous submission regarding holidays (See

I did write at the time that much of this was based on fact, and so, for those who want to know the facts of the case, here’s the truth:

I have deliberately not mentioned any coach firms by name (although one is easily worked out).

I'm half tempted to write a reply from said coach company. :D
