View Full Version : Chemtrails - White Lines Been Sprayed In The Sky
Does anyone know why at present there are a number of planes flying in the sky around Sheffield at the moment spraying white lines in the sky?
Now I used to be in Air Cadets and know that the vapour trails a plane may leave behind from it's engine would normally last around 45 - 60 seconds before it disappears.
I've been working at Totley this morning and counted five planes and Thirty Two different lines crossing each other.
I'm at Bramall Lane now and can see 3 planes and around 10 lines in the sky.
What has concerned me even more is if you try to check this out on the internet, you get basically directed to Chem Trail websites.
Has anyone else checked this out, and what do you think?
This was discussed recently on here http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=191201&highlight=usaf
So I take it no one believes they are Chem Trails been sprayed in the sky?
What are they spraying in the sky then because it's definitely something, the planes are out there again this morning, creating a mist covering the sky.
It just makes it a little scarey when in a few minutes you can find info like this on the internet about it, correct me if I'm wrong but the lines been spayed in the sky right now above us, are the same as these in the photo's.
Just take 5 minutes to have a look through, it might be nothing!

We see lots of planes going over and I always assume they are headed for Manchester as they always seem to be going in the same direction.

I like my conspiracy theories, but chemtrails is not one I buy into.
newfgreen 06-04-2007, 08:52 So i take it these 'chemtrails' contain chemicals which aren't good for us?
There certainly is an unusual ammount of activity in the skies over sheffield. High flying aircraft have always left vapour trails, but the number in the skies at the momentis most unusual.
Looking at them on Wednesday, I could see other planes between the trails, that weren't leaving trails.
I'm wondering if flight paths have changed recently and brought more trafic over us. The last time I saw activiy like this in the air, was the build up to the first Gulf war, but that was over South Wales.
Funnily enough my daughter pointed this out last night as we drove from Sheffield to Baslow over the moors ... hmm ..
Pretty scary link though if it's true .. and who knows .. I'm sure there are a lot of things out there that "they that know" aren't telling us ..
Perhaps that's why I've got cold. :o "The Man" is spraying me with germs!!
Mind you, it doesn't explain why no-one else around me has been infected, but I would think that's because it's a load of old tosh.
If it is a load of old tosh, and it could be, what is it that they are spraying? the planes fly one way spraying stuff out of the back, the spray goes off, the plane turns aroung, and then comes back in the oppersite direction spraying stuff again. These aren't planes following a flight path going from A to B.
I keep an open mind on thing's like this. There's a very intresting long thread about it on the fortean time's website, there are thing's called cloudbuster's that allegedly destroy chemtrail's
http://www.metatech.org/cloudbuster_&_orgone_generator.html
It's somthing that we can never be too sure about, and we will certainly never find out for definate either.
If you saw the news yesterday you'd have seen that there are a record number of people going to America for the Easter break.
They aren't going by sea.
Depending on the winds the planes either go west from Heathrow or North and then west over Iceland.
Don't forget that if the Lockerbie bomb had gone off 20 minutes earlier it would have been the Sheffield bomb.
Angus Prune 06-04-2007, 11:44 There's always quite heavy air traffic over sheffield, being as we are right underneath numerous standard commercial flight paths, both north-south and east-west (and vice-versa), it's just that it's probably more noticeable at the moment due to the easter rush, and the weather also plays a part - I'm fairly sure that vapour trails dissipate much more slowly in certain atmospheric conditions. Sometimes you can look up and just about make out aircraft flying high without leaving any trail at all.
That's fair enough with planes flying to American or anywhere else. The planes that were out there this morning were going in one direction, turning around and coming back in another direction. There were around 3 or 4 planes this morning, they must have made some 15 - 20 lines between them. The pilots can't have got lost on there flight and had to turn around a few times.
Turning around and coming back? You saw that?
Jabberwocky 06-04-2007, 13:09 Im only about three miles from the East midlands airport and its VERY quiet here today.
We can usually hear planes passing overhead but the sky is clear apart from a few really high up lines.

Firstly vapour trails aren't caused by the engines, they are caused by air pressure changes around the wings.
Secondly dependant on the atmospheric conditions they can persist for hours, not just upto 60 seconds.
The lines formed by the planes are simply vapour trails forming in moist air.
They are most definitely made by the engine exhaust Cyclone. I suspect that you're confusing them with vortex trails, although pressure differentials can cause them in some circumstances, but that's not what people usually see.
mr craig 06-04-2007, 14:04 Time to put the tin foil hat on.
Turning around and coming back? You saw that?
Yeah there were about 3 or 4 planes this morning, I know it's hard to say in the light but I think they were all white, I'm sure most passenger aircraft are white. They'd go in one direction for ages, then almost disappear (obviously from where I am), or turn round and come back, the trail that was been left wasn't constantly coming out of the back of the plane. At least two planes this morning were flying in a constant straight line ( the sun was behind them), before making 2 90 degree turns and going back the way they came, parallel to the previous line, he only had the vapour trail, or water vapour or whatever coming out of the rear of the engine / exhaust whatever when he wasn't making the turns.
he only had the vapour trail, or water vapour or whatever coming out of the rear of the engine / exhaust whatever when he wasn't making the turns. You sure it was turning and it wasn't another plane coming the opposite way?
That's what I thought at first especially when the planes were flying what I can only assume is miles away from where I am. But 100% there was at least one plane this morning that turned, and headed on a different direction bang on the oppersite direction to that it came.
nightwish 06-04-2007, 15:32 I was quite shocked when I saw this thread as when I went out this morning I noticed a lot of what I thought were strange vapour trails criss crossing Sheffield I had forgotten about it until I saw this.
If it was just normal air traffic surely it would be like it more often but I have never noticed it before.
Twitcher 06-04-2007, 17:09 I was a bit shocked when I read this thread.
From where I live if I look out of the window, like now I can always see at least 3 planes in the sky all leaving vapour trails. At most I have counted 14 planes in the sky moving at once (I have a great viewpoint!)
Has no one thought that air traffic would build up at certain holiday times of the year I assume there are more flights in the summer as people would be going to holiday destinations?
About the trails, my understanding is that according to altitude and temperature planes don't always leave a trail, I have noticed that those which are lower don't always seem to leave a trail.
Could we not simply be seeing more aircraft now Robin Hood airport is getting busier? I noticed there were more trails in the sky lately, but put it down to weather conditions.
rubydazzler 06-04-2007, 21:45 I haven't noticed the trails, most of the planes I've noticed in the past few days, haven't been leaving any trails at all which I put down to the good weather.
What I did see on a news programme was that there's a battle going on between Google Earth and Microsoft to have the best pics of everything and Bill's got planes flying about everywhere photographing us all - maybe that explains the planes just flying back and forth. Maybe the excessive trails are so they can see where they've already been?
Or did I dream it? :D
Went to one of those multi-agency "What are we going to do if a plane crashes in Sheffield" type seminars a couple of years ago. It was enough to send a glass eye to sleep.
However, I can remember the answer to one of the questions posed, namely:-"How many planes fly over South Yorkshire in an average day"?
Answer at the bottom of this post (if you can stand the suspense).......

Blackbeard 07-04-2007, 16:23 For those of you with a nervous disposition about just what is above you, why not try logging on to http://www.fboweb.com the almost real time flight tracking software. If you check with the local airports web site you can get the flight details of the arriving flights and departing aircraft, then put the airline and flight number into fboweb.com. fboweb.com should search the flight and if you select the “track in 3D” option and have Google Earth it will open Goggle Earth allowing you to track the flight. Not only does it track the flight but it also shows you the aircraft in the vicinity of the flight and if you do mange to find a flight that is near to Sheffield you can find out how many are in the air over Sheffield and also find where they have come from and where they are going. A good trick is to try the Delta flight 64 from Atlanta to Manchester that arrives at about 09:30 each morning, DAL64. Once it has landed the track remains active for a few hours so you can see the flights arriving and landing at Manchester airport and see any that are over Sheffield.

Cool as f***. Thanks for that!
Just to add to the contrail debate - if you can call it that. Contrails are formed by water vapour in the engine exhaust, condensing (and often freezing) in the cold air. Their persistence depends on a number of factors, not least humidity and air pressure. Stable high pressure systems tend to increase contrail persistence.
Spraying chemicals from an aircraft, in order to be effective, needs to be done at barnstorming altitudes. Any higher and the aerosol will drift with the wind, dilute, separate and generally behave in an unpredictable fashion. So not a very good instrument of global domination, public pacification, whatever.

If so, please google mail me details of how to sign up to resist our mechanical masters.

Said the psychiatrist.
From what i know contrails ( and not wingtip vortices ) are only produced at high altitude something like 4 or 5 miles and the outside temp has to be -50 or something i think, and its just condensation from the engine exhaust

I can't communicate anything electronically as they have monitoring devices in all domestic fuse boxes.
All I can say is, be watching the skies at 10pm, Easter Monday.
GTG, my telly is sending me new orders and I need to write them down...

Over the past few weeks, with the sky being clear a lot of the time I've been able to see lots of plane's going overhead.
I've always loved to watch the planes but i've noticed there has been an increase in the numbers - at one point I could see 14 just whilst sat looking through the lounge window.
At around 7am each morning there are 3 planes that are on the same route at around the same time heading North West and sometimes the trails are a lovely red with the morning sun.
This morning I was watching them and wondered - If bombs were placed on 4-5 and timed to go off when they're nearly above us, the damage would be unbelievable.
I want to know what is flying above us. As we are under a heavily used flight path what are the disaster plans should anything on the scale of Lockerbie occur? At the height and speed most of them are travelling at i would imagine a mid-air 'explosion' would leave debris over a very wide area?

God forbid, Bonny, anything like you have mentioned ever happens (again) over the UK, let alone Sheffield.
Disaster plans are in place and held with the various agencies, but specifics are obviously impossible to plan for, other than the whole area would inevitably be treated as a 'major incident crime scene'.
TBH, it doesn't bear thinking about.
stumathers 09-04-2007, 21:38 The only reason we have been seeing more contrails recently is that for over 2 weeks we have been under a persistant high pressure. Contrails persist for much longer than in bad weather and also high pressure brings clear skies that expose these contrails better.
bec265silver 03-05-2007, 17:20 Hi David J,
Thought you might like to read this if you haven't already.
Just read this on the internet it was posted by someone who works at an airport.
For reasons you will understand as you read this I can not divulge my identity.
I am an aircraft mechanic for a major airline. I work at one of our maintenance bases located at a large airport. I have discovered some information that I think you will find important. First, I should tell you something about the "pecking order" among mechanics. It is important to my story and to the cause to which you have dedicated yourself.
Mechanics want to work on three things. The avionics, the engines, or the flight controls. The mechanics that work on these systems are considered at the top of the "pecking order".
Next come the mechanics that work on the hydraulics and air conditioning systems. Then come the ones who work on the galley and other non-essential systems. But at the very bottom of the list are the mechanics that work on the waste disposal systems.
No mechanic wants to work on the pumps, tanks, and pipes that are used to store the waste from the lavatories. But at every airport where I have worked there are always 2 or 3 mechanics that volunteer to work on the lavatory systems.
The other mechanics are happy to let them do it. Because of this you will have only 2 or 3 mechanics that work on these systems at any one airport. No one pays much attention to these guys and no mechanic socializes with another mechanic who only works on the waste systems.
Fact is, I had never even thought much about this situation until last month. Like most airlines we have reciprocal agreements with the other airlines that fly into this airport. If they have a problem with a plane one of our mechanics will take care of it.
Likewise, if one of our planes has a problem at an airport where the other airline has a maintenance base, they will fix our plane.
One day last month I was called out from our base to work on a plane for another airline. When I got the call the dispatcher did not know what the problem was. When I got to the plane I found out that the problem was in waste disposal system. There was nothing for me to do but to crawl in and fix the problem.
When I got into the bay I realized that something was not right. There were more tanks, pumps, and pipes then should have been there. At first I assumed that the waste disposal system had been changed. It had been about 10 years since I had worked on this particular model of aircraft.
As I tried to find the problem I quickly realized the extra piping and tanks were not connected to the waste disposal system, at all. I had just discovered this when another mechanic from my company showed up. It was one of the mechanics who usually works on this particular type of plane, and I happily turned the job over to him.
As I was leaving I asked him about the extra equipment. He told me to "worry about my end of the plane and let him worry about his end!"
The next day I was on the company computer to look up a wiring schematic. While I was there I decided to look up the extra equipment I had found. To my amazement the manuals did not show any of the extra equipment I had seen with my own eyes the day before. I even tied in to the manufacturer files and still found nothing. Now I was really determined to find out what that equipment did.
The next week we had three of our planes in our main hanger for periodic inspection. There are mechanics crawling all over a plane during these inspections. I had just finished my shift and I decided to have a look at the waste system on one of our planes. With all the mechanics around I figured that no one would notice an extra one on the plane.
Sure enough, the plane I choose had the extra equipment! I began to trace the system of pipes, pumps, and tanks. I found what appeared to be the control unit for the system. It was a standard looking avionics control box but it had no markings of any kind.
I could trace the control wires from the box to the pumps and valves but there were no control circuits coming into the unit. The only wires coming into the unit was a power connection to the aircraft's main power bus.
The system had 1 large tank and 2 smaller tanks. It was hard to tell in the cramped compartment, but it looked like the large tank could hold about 50 gallons. The tanks were connected to a fill and drain valve that passed through the fuselage just behind the drain valve for the waste system.
When I had a chance to look for this connection under the plane I found it cunningly hidden behind a panel under the panel used to access the waste drain.
I began to trace the piping from the pumps. These pipes lead to a network of small pipes that ended in the trailing edges of the wings and horizontal stabilizers.
If you look closely at the wings of a large airplane you will see a set of wires, about the size of your finger, extending from the trailing edge of the wing surfaces. These are the static discharge wicks. They are used to dissipate the static electric charge that builds up on a plane in flight.
I discovered that the pipes from this mystery system lead to every 1 out of 3 of these static discharge wicks. These wicks had been "hollowed out" to allow whatever flows through these pipes to be discharged through the fake wicks.
It was while I was on the wing that one of the managers spotted me. He ordered me out of the hanger telling me that my shift was over and I had not been authorized any overtime.
The next couple of days were very busy and I had no time to continue my investigation. Late one afternoon, two days after my discovery, I was called to replace an engine temperature sensor on a plane due to take off in two hours. I finished the job and turned in the paperwork.
About 30 minutes later I was paged to see the General Manager. When I went in his office I found that our union rep and two others who I did not know were waiting on me. He told me that a serious problem had been discovered. He said that I was being written up and suspended for turning in false paperwork.
He handed me a disciplinary form stating that I had turned in false paperwork on the engine temperature sensor I had installed a few hours before. I was floored and began to protest. I told them that this was ridiculous and that I had done this work.
The union rep spoke up at this point and recommended that we take a look at the plane to see if we could straighten it all out. I then asked who the other two men were. The GM told me that they were airline safety inspectors but would not give me their names.
We proceeded to the plane, which should have been in the air but was parked on our maintenance ramp. We opened the engine cowling and the union rep pulled the sensor. He checked the serial number and told everyone that it was the old instrument. We then went to the parts bay and went back into the racks.
The union rep checked my report and pulled from the rack a sealed box. He opened the box and pulled out the engine temperature sensor with the serial number of the one I had installed. I was told that I was suspended for a week without pay and to leave immediately.
I sat at home the first day of my suspension wondering what the hell had happened to me. That evening I received a phone call. The voice told me "Now you know what happens to mechanics who poke around in things they shouldn't. The next time you start working on systems that are no concern of yours you will lose your job! As it is, I'm feeling generous, I believe that you'll be able to go back to work soon." CLICK.
Again, I had to pick myself from off the floor. As my mind raced, it was at this moment that I made the connection that what had happened to me must have been directly connected to my tracing the "mysterious" piping.
The next morning the General Manager called me. He said that due to my past excellent employment record that the suspension had been reduced to one day and that I should report back to work immediately. The only thing I could think of was "what are they trying to hide" and "who are 'THEY'"!
That day at work went by as if nothing had happened. None of the other mechanics mentioned the suspension and my union rep told me not to talk about it. That night I logged onto the Internet to try to find some answers.
I don't remember now how I got there but I came across a site that talked about chemically-laced contrails.
That's when it all came together. But the next morning at work I found a note inside my locked locker. It said, "Curiosity killed the cat. Don't be looking at Internet sites that are no concern of yours."
Well that's it. Now I know 'THEY' are watching me.
While I don't know what THEY are spraying, I can tell you how they are doing it. I figure they are using the "honey trucks". These are the trucks that empty the waste from the lavatory waste tanks.
The airports usually contract out this job and nobody goes near these trucks. Who wants to stand next a truck full of sh--. While these guys are emptying the waste tanks, it makes sense that they could easily be filling the tanks of the spray system.
They know the planes flight path so they probably program the control unit to start spraying some amount of time after the plane reaches a certain altitude. The spray nozzles in the fake static wicks are so small that no one in the plane would see a thing.
God help us all.
-- A concerned citizen
I too am wary of conspiracy theories etc but like you say 'If they aren't chemtrails and they definately are not vapour trails what are they and why do we constantly feel tired and runny nosed?'

I too am wary of conspiracy theories etc but like you say 'If they aren't chemtrails and they definately are not vapour trails what are they and why do we constantly feel tired and runny nosed?'
Great. You've copied and pasted a conspiracy theory nutjob fictional letter.

So did you!!! :hihi:
It must be true then!
Jabberwocky 03-05-2007, 17:55 The white lines are actually alien writing. The "Planes" arent actually planes at all, just remote controlled drones.
In orbit around Earth is a relay station that send the messages to its mother planet, and the messages are basically news casts of whats happening here.
Theres a vast interstellar civillisation out there and they want us to join them, the trouble is, we`re just too savage, we treat each other and other animals on Earth apallingly and thats exactly what these messages are saying.
Until we get our act together and start acting like rational, civillised beings then the lines are just going to keep on reporting bad news.
Erm ... I think its time for one of my little pills.....

well look at these links I have found . We are being experimented on by spraying us with bactiria and stuff, probably to see what makes it to ground level and survives and used to as a pre-emptive strike in future wars
We are being ...
...no we're not. This stuff was going on in the 'fifties.

Oh right so they just stopped now its out in the open ?
theres more than enough reasons today for such experiments to be started back up , new bugs, wars, knowladge of weather and global warming ect.
besides they should be warning people about stuff like this
