ahhh but it is an english term. It doesn't have the same meaning in french.

Try and find a french site that says it's rooms are "ensuite" and you won't. If you do they won't be french or they will have english speaking owners. the french say , chambre avec salle de bain, or salle de bain privee.

So, not so green as I am cabbage. Seems the joke isn't on me.
