Does anyone know of a mobile phone shop that will unlock a Sony Ericsson K500 in Sheffield City Centre?

Yeah there's one on the corner near the furniture shop they did my Sony Ericsson K750i for £15 x

sadly, marketman has closed his stall which was in the meat market, he was the most reliable, and best vfm, IMO...

there's extreme mobiles, on Waingate, on the outside of the market, just below the opticians, they are a bit pricier than Marketman was.

whatever you do don't go to Zarellas, (downstairs in market, and they have another shop on pinstone street, near the heart charity shop. Avoid them like the plague:- they are dear, and not over reliable.

another option would be to contact Dabouncer, (IIRC on here, he does unlocking covdes. I know he does Nokia, for definite, think he does erikssons, but couldn't swear to it.

I think I went to extreme mobiles!

Give Xtreme Mobiles a shot, just outside Castle Market, should be about £10

So where is the best place to go please?
