All those cold nights in your bed, if I had known I could have helped you out there with a nice pair of thermal long johns, and because you’re a fellow writer I would have done them at a good rate.
I know what you’re saying, “I’m all heart” but I’m a sucker for a hard luck story.

Well crafted with a touch of bitterness and finally recognising there's no going back.

A touching piece of writing, full of emotion and also at the same time, it conveys a kind of flatness. Gave me goosebumps.
