I just sorted the general chat threads by number of replies.
Guess what people wanted to talk about the most in October?
Speeding, speeding cameras, pig ignorant drivers, ghosts, begging woman and sheffield dialect.
Chrismas is just around the corner and nobody is whinging about it yet. Come on Scrooges; let's have a moan.

C'mon mate, - don't you mean the good old days when you didn't have the money to spend on Christmas ?

And I don't think the price of beer pro-rata the average wage is any worse than it was in the 1950s. Aren't the govt. trying to stop the booze industry selling it too cheaply ? :loopy:

I'm 23, I was trying to take the p*ss out of the middle aged winging basterds you get in sheffield (in perticular walkley).
They never stop winging about the price of beer.

What do people talk about most

At work the women talk mostly about themselves, and the men talk mostly about the women :P

To be honest it's so long since I could afford to go out for a few pints I haven't a clue what beer costs these days....but you could rub these whingers' noses in it by reminding them it was just 10p a pint in 1970. Hopefully it will make 'em choke and shut them up for a bit :D

I'm well past middle age BTW :P

What was on TV last night. Especially what happened on their favourite soap or comedy show.
